Ravencry nodded, and sighed. What a terrible day. She remembered briefly the day she lost her voice, and Redear, the Medicene Cat at the time. He had been the best Medicene Cat around at the time.

Flamestar then matched her pace and licked his chist fur. He then rain his tail down her back gently and then nodded. "Ravencry?"he meowed. He couldn't keep it to himself any more, he liked the she-cat.

Ravencry's ears flicked, and she looked at Flamestar with questioning eyes. She liked the tom-cat, but knew to keep her distance; she knew how much it hurt to lose a mate.

Flamestar looked at her. "I like you Ravencry, Your a pretty she-cat."He meowed to the she-cat. He remembered how it felt to lose a mate as well, and his kits. Since his mate died while giving birth to their two daughters.

Ravencry smiled, and licked Flamestar's cheek affectionatly, "I like you too, Flamestar," She purred warmly, her voice rusty.

Flamestar smiled and licked her ear softly and licked her check. "I'm sorry for your loss about your mate. I know how it feels, I lost Brookleaf as she give birth to me and her's two daughters."He meowed with sadness in his eyes.

Ravencry smiled weakly, "The pain eases with time, but it never disappears," She murmured, this meaning both of them. Her eyes glazed over with grief, but warmed up.

"Kit," Ravencry corrected him, Wishkit had died of greencough when she was still a kit, "Nightpaw will be warrior soon," She purred happily.

He did want kits with her but he left that up to her to when, he didn;t want to rush her, so he left it up to her if she did or not and if so to when.
