Risingdawn licked her paw and drew it over her ear thoughtfully. She hadn't even thought the whole thing through. She loved Jaguargaze very much but they had made a mistake in mating. It wasn't that she regretted it but it was simply a point of conflict. She prayed to StarClan, asking they forgive them, not bringing the misfortune of kits on them. She loved kits, but it would be a secret that would be very difficult to hide. She looked over at her mentor. Mentor.. or mate? she wondered. She hoped for the later, but would need to train herself to keep the secret of their affections for each other.

Jaguargaze licked his apprentices fur and purred as he thought of her being his mate, But what if the clan finds out? Will they exile us? Or kill the kits if she has any? These thoughts scared him and he shook his head.
(2 kits? 1 for each?)

Risingdawn turned to face her mentor, her eyes full of confusion. "What did we do?" she whispered, thinking what he was. What if... what if Would the kits suffer because of their parent's betrayed the clan and code and produced life that wasn't their's to give? She sighed, her heart suddenly torn. And then a dark thought filled her mind indeed. Hawkface, her father hated Jaguargaze. If he ever found out that his daughter had birthed kits of the medicine cat he'd surely kill them both. She hung her head, trying to hide her terror.

Jaguargaze licked his apprentice ear comfertingly, he knew what she was thinking about and he personaly had the same fear. Hawkface already wanted to kill him, what if he found out that he and his daughter we mates?

Risingdawn met her mentor's eyes, repeating her question, wanting, hoping she was wrong. "What did we do?" she whispered, her voice slightly louder. "I don't want to put you in danger" she breathed, her muzzle pressed against his cheek "If I have to I will lie who the father is if I end up pregnant" she offered, not wanting him to have to suffer for her irational longings.

Risingdawn licked Jaguargaze affectionately. "I know, I'm glad we mated" she admitted "It was against what we where suppose to do but I love you and I don't care if the world knows it" she declared, her green eyes full of honesty. Jaguargaze purred adn licked ehr nose," I wouldn't have done anything differently either. We should go back or the clan will be suspecting something though." He stood and stretched, then padded over to the spot where he laid the herbs adn picked up the Goldenrod.

Risingdawn nodded and got to her paws. She fetched the watermint and padded back towards camp, her pelt brushing her mate's, a smile crossed her face. Through the bundle of herbs she managed to purr "I love you Jaguargaze"

He smiled, his amber eyes shining," I love you too Risingdawn." He laid his tail across her back as they padded back to camp.
