Whisperingwillow sat under her favorite willow tree in the entire territory. She overlooked the river as it venished into a waterfall.

Whisperingwillow always opened up when she was around Rainheart and she liked that..." You know this is my favorite place in the whole territory. I love it because nobody else knows about it. It's hidden very well." She smiled and mewed," My mother found it when i was an apprentice and she showed me it. We used to sit here and talk all day long, after out duties were done of course. I have never shown anybody else it, before you." She looked at the tom through ice-blue eyes.

Whisperingwillow shook her head," no you haven't seen her... you probably haven't seen my father either. Her name was Weepingwillow. She was the prettiest she-cat in Riverclan! Until rouges attacked one of out hunting patrols and she was killed. My father's name was Whisperingridge. He was the bravest warrior in Riverclan, then he tracked down the rouges who killed my motehr and they killed him as well. They hunt together peacefully in Starclan now. They both died a monn before you were born, i was a new apprentice then...."
