Silentshadow frowned "I'm so sorry" she whispered "I shouldn't do this to you." she breathed, her tears falling freely now. "I want what's best for you as well but I don't know if my split heart is what will be able to supply the love you deserve. You could do so much better then me you know" she mewed softly.

Silentshadow sighed, getting to her paws. "You know I love you and I will always do what's best for you. And in this case I don't think that's me" she whispered, her eyes full of pain "I don't want to lead you on an endless chance for my sake." she breathed, her heart shattering "Please promise me you'll find the she-cat who's right for you, who will treat you properly" she begged, begining to back up, unsure of herself.

He frowned and a single clear tear slid down her face. He smiled weakly and muttered," I will." He stood up and licked her cheek for the last time. He sighed and walked back to camp with his head hanging low and his black tail dragging again the neetle covered ground.

Silentshadow tried to fight the urge to run after him. She hated to see him suffer but if she where to nice it would only hurt more wouldn't it. She wouldn't run after him, but she needed to talk to him. "Silentshadow" she wailed "Wait" she pleaded, sprinting to his side "You have every right to hate me" she hissed, angry with herself "But please, I'm begging you from deep down and I know it's not right of me, but I want to ask you for forgiveness for being a horrible friend. Please, I can't go through this world,knowing I've lost the greatest friend a cat could ever have" she whispered

Silentshadow licked his nose, her love for him growing more then it ever had but the love was diffrent, it was more of a friendly love. "It would honor me to have a best friend like you" she whispered, nuzzling his cheek, glad that there where no hard feelings.

He smiled and licked her ear, not going close to her cheek or nose. He purred slightly, as he smelt her fur again.
