A white she-cat padded gracefully to a small creek that was running through the meadow. She laid down beside it on a rock slab. She shivered as the cold wind tugged at her thin fur. She licked up a couple drops of the clear water and sat up. Her unusual green/blue eyes watching the moon as it climbed into the dark blue sky. She smiled slightly. She shivered again as another cold burst of wind hit her. I wish I had a mate to keep me warm,She thought to herself. She yawned and laid down curling into a tight warm ball. She gently closed her eyes, opening them again as if willing she didn't fall asleep. She glanced at the moon again and could've sworn it kissed her goodnight. She closed her eyes smiling and fell asleep.
