Lunarpaw just gazed at Wingpaw, his eyes were glazed with compassion as he starred at Wingpaw. He pressed his face to hers and took a step forward tkaing a protective stance ahead of her. The same yellow gaze from Ashfoot but now from his son narrowed on Hawkface. He took a deep breath "Hawkface you can't.." he meowed but was suddenly interrupted.
Ashfoot stuggled to step forwarf from the many cliging claws on his back to hold him back but he pushed forward. His yellow eyes showing nothing but guilt, and fear for the fate of his son. "Lunarpaw no, kill me, don't join his crusade your better than that" he cried out.
Lunarpaw felt his face expression wince in pain. He looked at his father then to Hawkface. "Hawkface....I won't kill my father....I could never live with that guilt. But please....." he took a deep breath. He sent a glance to Wingpaw, turning away with his head low. "If I join you uncle, will you not kill my father?"

It made Lunarpaws ache seeing WIngpaw like this. But what choice did he have, if he killed his father he would have to end up joining Hawkface.

Wingpaw licked him and whisper, so only he could hear," If you go, I'm going with you." She leaned up against him.

Lunarpaw turned sharply to Wingpaw "No your future is with WIndclan, you have a life here I don't want you to waste it because of me" he meowed weakly knowing that his sadness and compassion for Wingpaw was far to great. He leaned forward to whisper in her ear, only so low that she would be the only to here him "you need to be strong and take the ones who believe there is still hope to Shadowclan. I won't leave you"

She licked his cheek and brought the lick up to his ear. She purred slightly, knowing it wasn't a good time to purr when Hawkface was about to kill Icestar. She turned to her mother who was glancing at her proudly.

Hawkface just rolled his eyes at Lunarpaw and Wingpaw."Very well Lunarpaw your father my live but..." Coughing before turning to Ashfoot up on the Wind Stone."He will be marked as a traitor and lair to his Clan.." Jumping up on to the great wind stone and thrusting up his right paw and sheathing it deep into Ashfoots right shoulder as it made a sort of a zig-zag like lighting hitting the ground. The massive silver tom glanced at Lunarpaw."You have much to learn my boy..." mumbling to the little apprentice and gazing at Wingpaw before cracking a smirk then plummeting to the ground with all fours down. Sighing then gazing at Icestar."Lets get this over with.."

A cat's shape was outlined by small amount of light offered in the clearing. It seemed as though the heavy clouds where preparing to torture the world with a deluge. The cat looked almost exactly like Hawkface, only smaller and slender. Taking a step forward, a she-cat's face could be distinguished. She had watched all that had happend in the clearing. "Hawkface" she called "It's odd that you wouldn't invite your own daughter to join you" she said, almost with sarcastic hurt. "I'm not like Risingdawn" she said with a growl, padding to face the tom. "Go on" he said, her eyes challenging "Will you invite me to be one of your own? I'm your daughter, kin by blood and follower by choice" the cat's voice declared in her usual smooth voice. A shiver ran along her spine with the thought. She couldn't bare to see her family fall apart. She would do what was right in the end, but what was right would all depend on how things where layed out.
Jadeflight watched in shock as her daughter faced her mate, almost the identical of the massive tom although the she was half his size. It was like watching a cat face of with it's reflexion. "Rippledstream," she whispered, taking a step forward, her heart shattering.

Lunarpaw felt a shiver run down his spine, not because of the icey silent winds that blew by only because his destiny his future was now with Hawkface, his father would live but Lunarpaw would have to sacrifice being a warrior, now to be a warrior for Hawkface.
Ashfoot fell to the ground, he felt a lump in his throat and his entire shoulder now throbbed with a great amount of pain. His yellow eyes now dull, no longer did a spark rise within them.... he was defeated, there was nothing left. Icestar was about to fight till the death. He had faith in her but on her last life he didn't know how she could manage against Hawkfaces techniques. Lunarpaw his son now had another path....a path through the dark.
Shadestar sighed, Lunarpaw an apprentice willing to learn now his path was hidden with HAwkface's evil.

Icestar took this all in, every single word, she looked to her kits. Aurorapaw, Destinypaw, Eternalpaw, Severedpaw, and little Lunarpaw. She would not live. The hawk, swooping in for the kill in her passing eighth life was proof enough. She padded through the cats and stood beneath Wind Stone, her back to her brother, like she had already lost the 'star' in her name. But from the front, you could see the pride in her eyes, the flame of hope, "My followers, my friends, my family, my love." She began her final speech, "I thank you for the many seasons I've spent with you, the many joys and sorrows, the many lives born, and the many deaths passing. It has made my life worth something. Sadly, I do not have time to tell you how grateful I am." Icestar sighed, her eyes blinking slowly. "Aurorapaw." The smaller identical version of Icestar looked up, her wide blue eyes brimmed with tears, "My daughter you do not know how proud I am. From this day forward, you shall be known as Aurorawish; for I have a wish for you to grant - I wish for you to keep your siblings strong. StarClan honors you." Aurorawish let the tears fall, she sat beside her siblings. Icestar moved her gaze. "Eternalpaw." The gray-blue she-cat stared at her mother with warm cinder eyes, "You are swift and agile, a true WindClan cat. From this day forward, you shall be known as Eternalrose; for you, shall never fade from my heart no matter where I go - like a beautiful rose among the wildflowers." Icestar smiled and looked to Severedpaw. "Severedpaw." The dark gray tom stared at her mother with unblinking emerald eyes, "You are strong and proud, and I expect great things from you. From this day forward, you shall be known as Severedworld; for though you and your sibling's path may go different directions, the bonds will never sever." Severedworld felt his eyes water but he gave off a proud look. "Lunarpaw." Icestar said in a cooing voice, she looked Lunarpaw's way, "You were brave to make such a sacrifice, I am proud to be your Mother wherever you go. But don't let your true soul fade, no matter what Hawkface feeds you. From this day forward, you shall be known as Lunarstrike; WindClan and StarClan honor your sacrifice." Icestar moved to her last son, the one she had giving all her hopes to. "Destinypaw." Icestar said in a tired voice, "I want you to follow in my footsteps one day, as a leader, and a better one at that. I will watch you from the stars, my son. From this day forward, you shall be known as Destinycatcher; don't just wait for destiny to come to you, chase it like a rabbit on the moors, and catch it." Icestar smiled proudly at her kits. She moved on with her good-byes. "Jadeflight, Rippledstream, Risingdawn." Icestar murmured, "I am truly sorry for mixing you three up so much, my old mind deceives me." She smiled and chuckled a bit. "Jadeflight, you were my closest and most loyal friend, like a sister. I am sorry I did not choose you to be deputy in the first place and if I am given the chance, it would be so." She moved her gaze to Rippledstream and Risingdawn. "You two have so much potential, I hope you realize this. Fight for your Clan, your family, your love; do what you think is right in the end. I am proud of you both as an aunt and a leader." Icestar murmured and moved to Ashfoot. "Ashfoot, my love, I am sorry for having to leave you so soon. You were the best mate a she-cat could have, I wish for you to look after our children wherever they may go." Icestar murmured, her voice drenched with warmth, "I love you, I always will, even from beyond the stars. But if I do not return, do not be afraid to move on." Icestar smiled, stepped forward, and turned to face Hawkface. "My brother, you traitor. So destiny has it, one will end and another will begin." Icestar snarled, her lips curling, "I have accepted your challenge the moment I named you deputy. Now, let's take this fight elsewhere where we won't be interrupted." Icestar suggested, but it was his choice, she was in no power anymore. If she had not lost her 'star' name, she would've called herself Iceblink now, but fate was with her still.
OOC: Icey you can changed Lunerstrike's name if you want. Hawk, just take them else where, have Hawk attack, I'll post once more but it might be a while cuz I'm so caught up in real life. =] This is possibly and most likely my last post on this site, but maybe without the role of leadership sitting on my shoulders I'll be able to keep roleplaying here. And sorry, my xat reset so I probably don't have some of you guys as my friend. I'll post once on xat, I'm Shizukesa now. =] Cyaz.

((nope ice I like it ) Lunarpaw gazed at his wise mother, he had become a warrior of Windclan but his destiny was hidden from him. He felt his eyes water knowing that this would be the last moment with his mother. He padded up to her only whiskers away and he bowed his head "Icestar, my leader and my mother I honor your courage and I will never forget you. I love you and always will" he meowed pressing his nose to hers. He backed away looking at his grim father who lay frozen, blood trickling from his trhobbing shoulder. Ashfoot tried to keep the hard lump in his throat. Icestars words were touching and he would never forget her. His only love ever in his life, and she would always will be. he stuggled to stand and take several steps to her. He limped his way pressing his face to her's "Icestar my love, I will miss you with all my heart. The children will be safe and I will make sure of that" passing a watery glance to Hawkface. "But I won't leave you, I won't move on because I love you and I could never share my ageing heart with anyone. It has had its time and its time was with you. When you leave to the stars I will always be looking up" he meowed giving her one last lick which he would treausre.

Rippledstream bowed her head in silence as her aunt and leader paid her last words to her clan mates. She was truely tortured by the love she felt for her aunt and the will to hold her family together. She knew that Jadeflight, Hawkface and she had more of a chance of being a family if Hawkface became leader. But she was always worried that he would disown her because of what Risingdawn did. She disagreed with her father's point of view on the matter, but not enough to challenge him. She ached inside. "StarClan be with you" she whispered, touching her nose to Icestar's pelt.
Jadeflight sighed, licking the white leader's silvery muzzle "You'll be remembered and missed" she whispered quietly "I wish I could tell you that this battle isn't over, but it seems that StarClan is calling you sooner then any of us could have dreaded" she murmered, her muzzle on the she-cat's head, her green eyes full of pain.
