Peace has ruled the Pridelands for five years. Kovu and Kiara have had three cubs; each are just beginning to choose the paths of thier destiny. The Circle of Life continues in harmony... But Rafiki senses that something huge is about happen that will change everything.
Three days later as the sun rises, a mysterious white lion is seen in the Outlands, a place where none have been since the Outlanders and Pridelanders joined as one. With this white lion came a black eagle that flew directly to Pride Rock with a message. The eagle said that the white lion comes in peace and does not intend to fight. Then the eagle delivered shocking news, that Mufasa and Scar had an older brother. That he was the grandson of that older brother and has come to claim his rightful place as the true king.
Outraged, Kovu and Kiara went to speak with this lion and drive him off. But the white lion calmly stated that he had done nothing wrong because he hadn't set a paw on the Pridelands and that he will not force anyone to do anything. That he has come in peace. Not able to do anything, the King and Queen allowed him to stay.
But in the months that followed, this white lion is gaining followers rapidly. He's made promises of complete safety and every species working together. That everyone will have enough food for thier pups and cubs. He says that everyone will be in complete health and there will be no more pain. Word is spreding each day and now even the Pridelanders are getting split in two. Is this lion truly who he says he is or is he as blood thirsty as Scar and Zira?
Who will you believe? Who is the True King?
