Risingdawn looked up at Jaguargaze, her eye's dulled. "What did we do wrong" she whispered, so quietly that anyone could have thought he'd imagined it himself. She lay wrapped in a ball still, her pelt ruffled.

" We didn't do anything wrong, the poison had already traveled through his digestive system and was well on his it's way." He licked her should soothingly and laid his tail over her belly. His eyes grew wide," Have you been eating a lot lately or did you get fat?" He asked in a hushed voice.

Risingdawn looked at Jaguargaze, slightly puzzled "Well I haven't eaten alot, I mean I haven't had any fresh kill since last sunhigh. " she whispered, her eyes widdening as she realized what it might mean. She shook her head "There's no way" she breathed, not knowing how she should react to the situation.

He pressed his paw to her belly," I think your pregnant!" He whispered..." Hopefully you don't show anymore than this!"

Risingdawn's eyes opened wide with fear "Jaguargaze" she whispered "What if fath- hawkface finds out?" she breathed, tears welling up in her eyes "He'll kill us all" she growled "I won't let him!" she mewed decisivly "We'll have these kits and raise them as our own and if he finds out then he finds out. I won't let him manipulate me any longer" she snarled, her teeth bared at the thought.

Jaguargaze nodded, licking his mate softly.

Risingdawn smile weakly "We need to think up a story" she mewed suddenly "How will we explain the sudden appearance of kits in the medicine cat's den?" she wondered, her green eyes glowing pensively.

" What if we say a exiled cat came to us and told us to name them that and bring them here..."

Risingdawn nodded "Alright" she purred, getting to her feet and stretching. "We'll need to plan for when the kitting arrives, you'll need to stay her" she whispered "If we both are gone for a long time then they'll be suspicious. I'll be able to do it" she affirmed, her eyes full of determination.

" Okay," Jaguargaze mewed, concern filling his voice.

Risingdawn licked him "Don't worry" she whispered with a smile "I'll take the appropriate herbs with me and everything will be fine" she purred. Suddenly, her ears swivled towards the entrance of the den, she could her angry voices coming from the warrior den. "Hush" she murmered, almost soothingly for she knew what was to come. "We must be occupied by the time they get here" she decided, recognizing Hawkface's voice. She sat in front of a pile of herbs and began to sort them.

At that moment, Rippledstream burst into the den, pretending to be calm. She sat down in the shadows of the den with only a glance of understanding towards her twin before licking her pelt, smoothing it down.

Jaguargaze swerved into his den adn back out as Rippledstream can in," What is it?' He asked.

Rippledstream said nothing but continued her grooming.

Risingdawn brushed her tail gently along her mentor's cheek, "don't worry" she mewed "She's not here to cause any trouble she's looking out for me is all"

" Okay," He mewed adn sat down, finishing Risingdawn's sorting.

Hawkface was ready to charge into the den when he heard Icestars words coming from somewhere in command, cursing under his breath he stopped at the entrance and turned around with a whip wit his fluffy tail to were his sisters voice. Something about Ripplestar, the RiverClan leader and war... how pleasing.
