Nocturnalriver looked at Tenderpool appologeticaly, since he knew how Tumblingfoot felt. "It's my fault, I'm sorry" he murmered in her ear. "He likes you very much you know. But maybe he thinks that you and I are already together and that he doesn't have a chance" he whispered, his blue eyes upset "I hope I didn't ruin your chance with him" Nocturnalriver sighed "I mean if you like him and all" the fluffy tom shook his pelt but stayed next to Tenderpool. He felt bad but he also was secretly glad that Tumblingfoot was giving in so easy. It wouldn't be as hard for Nocturnalriver to admit to his feelings for the RiverClan deputy.

Glassflower and Mossclaw padded up side-by-side. Glassflower stumbled into Nocturnalriver and blushed slightly. Mossclaw laughed and murmured," Sorry, we didn't see you guys." She padded away but Glassflower stayed," Glassflower come on!" Mossclaw called. Glassflower stared at Nocturnalriver with her smokey blue eyes and padded away flicking him with her tail lightly on the nose. Mossclaw shook her head and muttered again," Sorry!"

tenderpool watched his surprise and to her amazement even anger as the riverclan shecat flirted with nocturnalriver. she looked at him her eyes showing some of her anger.
well apparently you have your pick of the she cats.
she muttered before turning and walking slowly along the rivers edge. she knew her anger towards him was irrational and that he didnt do anything wrong. but she couldnt help her feelings!

Nocturnalriver glanced at Glassflower, flashing her a confused look, not knowing what she had been thinking. She didn't even know him, but he was not angry, simply shocked. As Tenderpool walked away from him, he felt the venom of her words and it stung him, he cowered slightly at her anger, watching her helpless for a moment before leaping to his feet and racing to block her way. His blue eyes meeting her gaze, his full of confusion and hurt. "I don't even know her" he whispered, his tone was a mixture of hurt and confusion. "Why would you assume that just because Glassflower might be attracted to me that I'm automaticaly attracted to her. I am a tom who may only have his heart set on one cat and the spot was already occupied before she came and flirted with me" he murmered, his blue eyes looking at his paws, he was trying not to show her exactly how he felt, for he didn't want to make her feel guilty or anything like that.

tenderpools ears lay flat again and her eyes instantly filled with remorse for her actions and her harsh words.
sorry.
she muttered. but she still couldnt help but feel a small bit jelous. she liked him. she hardly new him but being with him made her heart beat, made her insides flutter, made her flush. she couldnt explain it but it simply made sense being with him. she gave him a small smile but her sadness lingered in the corner of her maw.
i should get back to camp
she mewed quietly just looking for an excuse to get away....

Nocturnalriver smiled broadly back "I understand" he murmered as she appologized "It is in no way your fault" he added, his crooked grin spreading wider. As she tried to escape from the situation, he decided to corner her, just for fun and honestly because he wanted more time with her. Bowing down low he purred "Let me accompany you back then madame" he winked at her mischeviously.

tenderpool couldnt help but giving a small smile.
thats really not necessary.
she laughed. she looked at him. her saphires shimmering with laughter again. he just had this way of making her feel great no matter what. she could get used to this. she gently nudged him and turned to walk away even knowing full well she wouldnt make it back to camp...

Nocturnalriver laughed, racing up beside her "Not necessary perhaps but desierable for certain" he teased, walking beside her, matching her pace for pace, step for step. "You should have known that no matter what you said I'd accompany you back home" he scolded playfully.
